I'm so pleased you got to see this majestic cathedral, Cologne is a very nice place. Your actually stood in the same place as I had my photo taken many years ago, my daughter lived there for a year whilst in university studying for a language degree. I had the opportunity to visit twice, and she showed me all the sights. How wonderful for you too, as this hasn't been a flying visit to Germany you're actually strolling around getting in some sightseeing. That's good for you, some down time.
